How We're Different
We serve people who are desperately poor and needy. Many will literally die without outside support. They live in remote, rural areas that have little access to food, clean water, medical services, jobs, schools, police protection, and other basic services found in more developed areas. They are the poorest of the poor, and we feel called to serve them.
We have established a Children's Home that has currently rescued 50 children who were either orphaned or in a very vulnerable state. They are now safe and protected as well as learning about the love of the Father. The transformations are amazing to see!
Our ministry partners in Africa are local pastors or Christian leaders who serve all people of all faiths in their communities. They share the love of Christ through teaching, preaching, and leading churches. But they also demonstrate that love through running children's homes, providing food for the poor, drilling wells to provide clean drinking water, and starting businesses that teach vital skills, provide work experience, and enable families to support themselves financially.
But our ministry partners can’t do it alone. The communities they serve are desperately poor and simply do not have the funds to construct dormitories for orphans or drill wells for drinking water. Our partners themselves need financial support to feed their families and pay the expenses of their ministries.
Our long-term goal is complete community transformation reflected in healthy people, strong families, profitable businesses, and thriving churches. That’s why we support our ministry partners as they open children's homes, medical clinics, schools, and even businesses to provide for their own support and bring new opportunities to their communities.
Someday these ministries will be self-supporting. They won’t need our financial help. But they need it now. We pray that you will partner with us to provide that help and lay a Christ-centered foundation for these communities to grow upon!
